Volunteers are at the heart of our ministry! We couldn’t do the important work that we do without the dedicated hearts and hands of our volunteer team. Check out these great volunteer events we have coming up at Camp Amnicon!

Annual Fall Work Weekend: November 16-18

Volunteering at Amnicon is fun! These annual work weekends have become a meaningful tradition in the Amnicon Family. This year, we’ll be focusing on felling dangerous trees around the site, burning brush, and cleaning out the dusty corners around camp. Saturday night we’ll be celebrating Thanksgiving with a bonafide feast!

Delicious food, cozy lodging, and good company are guaranteed! All ages and skill levels welcome. If you have a chainsaw and know how to use it, please bring it!

For questions, or to RSVP email: info@amnicon.org or call 715-364-2602

Lumber Land Weekend: December 7-9

Bring Your Own Chainsaw!Come cut down trees with us! There’s an alarming number of trees that need to come down around the Amnicon site. At this special bring-your-own-chainsaw event, we’ll be protecting our buildings and people as well as helping the forest around us grow in a healthy way. It’s good for everyone!

Don’t have a chainsaw? No problem! We need other folks to help clear branches, burn brush, split logs, and more!

Delicious food, cozy lodging, and good company are guaranteed!

Can’t make either weekend?

Come volunteer some other time! We’d love to have you! We’re always happy to trade room and board for a bit of free labor. It’s a rewarding experience to come to camp, do something important, and then relax and enjoy the peace of the woods. Come by yourself, or bring some friends!
