We are grieved by the fear and harm being experienced by our partners, neighbors, campers, and friends in the Minneapolis area at the hands of ICE. Guided by our values, we believe we are called to stand with our neighbors and respond with compassion, courage, and care.
Until peace and justice are restored, Amnicon is offering free personal retreats to any community leader or member who needs one. We understand that getting away can be difficult, but it can also be incredibly soul filling and rejuvenating. To any pastor, teacher, community organizer, or human being who needs a break…come to Amnicon and let the river, the trees, and The Lake take care of you for a minute. It’s ok to need a break.
