Role Description:

To provide strategic oversight of Amnicon’s programs and operations. As one of three director-level positions, this position is situated in the Twin Cities. The Director of Strategic Development interfaces primarily with the Board, the Director of Outreach and Administration and the Director of Program and Facilities. The position strives to cultivate individual relationships and strategic organizational partnerships in line with the mission of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Board of Directors and committees.
• Advise and present ideas and solutions for challenges and opportunities facing Amnicon.
• Lead the discernment and development of a strong vision for the ministry of Amnicon, its activities, and possibilities.
• Connect with individual key donors to develop new and maintain existing donor relationships.
• Provide Christian leadership to the Board of Directors, staff, and broader Amnicon community.
• Support Christian mission and ministry, and serve as an Amnicon liaison to cultivate new ane existing organizational partnerships.

Accountability:

•  Reports to and meets regularly with the Amnicon Foundation Board of Directors.
• Participates in annual review with the Personnel Committee.

Expectations with Support:

• Travel with mileage reimbursement throughout the service area
• Budgeted funds to take donors and organizational partners to lunch/coffee
• Quarter to half-time
