Kids Need Camp.
How can we help young people build resilience? How can we help them experience peace? In a world of ever-increasing division, how can we foster deep and meaningful connections?
Send them camping.
There’s something powerful that happens when a small group of thoughtful people gathers together under the stars, around a fire. Deep and lasting bonds are formed when they work together to overcome challenges…like paddling through rapids to get to their next campsite or gathering enough firewood to be able to cook dinner.
Our campers tell us over and over again how impactful their experiences at Amnicon have been. Last year, Maisee told us “I feel better about going to school and church now because I know I have real friends there, and I know they accept me for me.” Priscilla told us, “I learned I am persistent and fearless. I am very proud of myself. I kept going when I was tired and overcame my fears.”
Kids NEED these kinds of edifying, healing, and empowering experiences.
We are honored to help make these experiences happen, but we cannot do it without your support.

We are searching for high quality, exciting items to put into our Silent Auction. We would specifically love:
- A gift card to your favorite restaraunt in the TC area
- Homebrewed beer, mead, or cider
- Handcrafted items
- Experiences such as theater tickets, date nights, boat rentals, etc…
