Pets?
We love having dogs come to visit, but do sometimes try to limit the total number of dogs we have on site at any given time. Please confirm with an Amnicon Director that it’s ok to bring your pet before you come. There is a $25 fee to keep a pet in one of our cabins. Pets are not welcome in the dining hall, and discouraged in the lodge. If your dog poops on a pathway or in the lawn, please just toss it aside into the woods.
Food?
At this time, Amnicon is not able to provide food for our cabin rental guests. We recommend bringing whatever food you’d like to eat while you’re here.
In the Sunrise & Sunset kitchenettes you have a microwave, mini-fridge w/ freezer, coffee maker, hot plate, water, plates, bowls, mugs, glasses, silverware, small pot & pan, cutting board, coffee, coffee filters, tea, cocoa, cider, salt, pepper.
There is a grocery store about 20 minutes from Amnicon, and lots of great restaurants in the Twin Ports to choose from as well.
COVID
We have established the following guidelines to help keep our guests and staff safe:
- Please do not come if you are sick in any way or have been in recent contact with someone known to be positive for COVID.
- We will refund all payments made if you are unable to come due to illness.
- Everyone is advised to wear a cloth face covering or stay behind an impermeable barrier anytime you share an indoor space with someone you don’t typically live with
- The bathrooms in the lodge are available for cabin renters to use during the months of September to May. The lodge may not be available during the summer.
- When using the bathrooms in the lodge, please latch the bathroom door behind you when you enter so that no one else accidentally comes in. Please be quick about your visit in case another guest is waiting, and to reduce the accumulation of air-borne particles.
